Frequently asked questions
Does Treni Alert sell tickets?
No. Treni Alert does not sell tickets and does not make bookings. It alerts you when a seat becomes available on a sold-out train; the purchase then happens on the operator’s official channels. More details in our Terms of Service.
Are you connected to Trenitalia or Italo?
No. We are an independent app and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Trenitalia, Italo, Trenord, RFI or any railway operator or public body. We use publicly available information to make your life easier.
How does an alert work?
You choose the train, route, date and class you’re interested in and create an alert. When we detect an available seat, we send you a notification. Bear in mind availability can change quickly: always check the official channel before buying.
I’m not receiving notifications. What should I do?
Make sure you’ve allowed notifications for Treni Alert in Settings › Notifications, that you have an active connection and the latest app version. Notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and we can’t guarantee delivery in every situation.
How many alerts can I create?
The free version allows a limited number of alerts. With Premium you increase the limit and remove ads.
How do I manage or cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device to change or cancel them. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the app, go to the Premium section and tap Restore purchases. If you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase, your subscription will be restored.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual alerts in the app, or request erasure of the data associated with your device by writing to support@trenialert.it. See our Privacy Policy.
Is the train information always correct?
We do our best, but data comes from public sources and may be delayed or inaccurate. Always check official channels before making any travel or purchase decision.
